Individual counselling is a private, one-on-one process where a trained counsellor helps you work through personal challenges, emotions, and life issues. The counsellor provides a safe space for you to talk openly, offering guidance and support to help you understand your problems better and develop strategies to cope or make positive changes in your life.

Supervision

Caleb Chang isn’t just a counsellor; he understands the challenges life throws your way. As a husband, father of two adult children (one biological and one adopted), and someone caring for his elderly mother with dementia, he’s navigated the complexities of family, responsibility, and unexpected life changes. At 50, he made the deliberate decision to return to school, recognizing the need for practical tools and strategies to navigate these complexities. This wasn’t a theoretical exercise for him; it was about finding real solutions to real-world problems.

This experience drove him to pursue a Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Trinity Western University and earn his designation as a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC #11249480) with the CCPA (Canadian Counsellors and Psychotherapists Association). Caleb brings both academic expertise and firsthand experience to his practice. He understands that life isn’t always linear and that sometimes you need someone who gets what it means to carry a heavy load. He’s committed to providing practical, effective strategies to help you unpack your own challenges and move forward with greater clarity and resilience.
